Steve Imburgia, AIC, President
Steven is a highly skilled Consultant and Advisor to CEOs, COOs, business owners and attorneys in the building construction field. He brings to the table over 35 years of hands-on construction engineering experience and has an established track record of successfully managing multiple, complex projects and implementing solutions to perceived or existing problems. Steven is also an Expert Witness in legal matters related to building construction.
Kim Morgan, Executive Administrator
Kim is an accomplished Executive Administrator and Writer with over 38 years of experience. At Imburgia Consulting, she is responsible for writing executive resumes, biographies and LinkedIn profiles for the company’s construction consultants, advisors and industry experts, and writes the Imburgia Consulting Blog and the company’s LinkedIn posts that detail construction industry news and announcements.
Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. She is the author of four self-help books sold on Amazon and other sites, and is a freelance writer, editor and ghostwriter of magazine articles, memoirs, blogs and literary analyses.
Richard Baum, AIA, Project Manager
Richard has over 37 years of experience as an architect in the construction field. As a member of the Imburgia Consulting team, Richard’s responsibilities include reviewing project plans and specifications, and coordinating all budgetary estimates and costs with the rest of the team.
Richard has a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Design and Theory from the University of Arizona in Tucson. He belongs to the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Sandra Guerrero, LEED AP BD + C, M. Arch. Project Manager
Sandra has over 20 years of experience as a Project Manager and Architect. She is skilled in organizing the bidding process and developing estimates and schedules, while coordinating meetings between the design team and subcontractors in order to resolve construction issues to the benefit of all concerned.
Sandra holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Houston, and a Graduate degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
James B. Angelle, PE, Consulting Engineer
Jim is a highly skilled engineer, construction manager and project director with over 46 years of experience in planning, designing and implementing mechanical and electrical systems. He is a proven leader and expert in all facets of engineering and a specialist in the programming, design and construction management of major projects.
Jim holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and Mathematics from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He is also a member of IEEE and an Emeritus Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
Richard Markel, AIA, Project Manager
Richard has over 18 years of experience in Construction Project Management. He has a proven track record of team building, project management, business origination and development of client win-strategies. His depth of experience includes architecture, planning, organizing and managing complex mission critical project teams, from prelease through design, to construction and move-in.
Richard earned Bachelor of Science and Master degrees in Architecture from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is a licensed architect in the states of Texas, New York and New Jersey, a licensed general contractor in Virginia, California, Massachusetts and Dallas, Texas, and holds a Construction Superintendent Supervisor License in New York City. Richard is also a member of American Institute of Architects.
Allen L. Crowley, Jr., FAIC Senior Project Manager
Allen L. Crowley, Jr. is a highly skilled construction project manager with over 31 years of experience in the building construction field. Allen specializes in the management of pre-development, pre- and ongoing project budgeting, and administration and delivery on all levels of construction projects. He is a proven leader and expert in construction contract development, budget financing, scheduling, supplies procurement, renovations, design team coordination, field coordination, and project and operations management on multi-unit, multi-story facilities.
Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He was a Tri-C College faculty member in 2017, elected to the College of Fellows in 2007, and has been a board member of American Institute of Constructors, Growth Associate Greater Cleveland Partnership, Girl Scouts of America, Council of Smaller Enterprises, and City of Shaker Heights.
Julia Burke, Esq., Attorney
Julia has over 24 years of experience as a Corporate/Transactional Attorney. Her specialty is real estate law, and review of employment, confidentiality and noncompetition agreements in construction.
Julia has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas in Austin, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center in Houston. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and is fluent in Spanish and German.
Erin Krueger, CPA, Finance and Accounting
Erin is a highly skilled Accountant with over 17 years of experience in the tax preparation field. At Imburgia Consulting, she utilizes her expertise and abilities to calculate and prepare estimated tax payments and annual federal income tax returns, while executing daily bookkeeping services for the company.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the state of Texas, and is a member of both the American Society of CPAs and Texas Society of CPAs.
