Steven Imburgia is president of Imburgia Consulting, LLC, a construction consulting company located in Houston, Texas.  Backed by Steven’s 35+ years of construction engineering experience , Steven’s skills enable him to provide CEOs, business , developers, and attorneys in the building construction field with upfront and personal consultations and advice.

Steven is also a court approved expert witness in building construction matters with a long-standing track record of managing multiple, complex projects and implementing creative solutions to perceived or existing problems.

Steven’s past position as vice president at W.S. Bellows Construction Corporation provides extensive experience in managing building projects from conception and pre-construction to the finished project.  Steven’s responsibilities included feasibility analyses, cost control, sub-contractor coordination and management, land acquisitions, business development, and training. In addition, he also provided quality assurance and control, client contract negotiations, resource and budget management and control, client lease work letter development and review, and risk management.

Steven received his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and completed the Construction Middle Management program at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  Steven also completed graduate studies in the MBA Program at University of St. Thomas, Houston Texas, and has completed the AGC of America’s OSHA 30-hour Construction and Construction Superintendent Training Programs.

Steven has years of formal “in house” Safety and Executive training from the ENR Top 400 builder, which he served for over 30 years. He is also a member of the American Institute of Constructors, where he sat on the Board of Directors for the state of Texas; the Associated General Contractors of America’s Public Agency, Education and Training; and The Houston Business and The Buyer Advisory committees; and is an Advisory Board member for Texas A&M University’s Department of Construction Science. He has also been an instructor and guest lecturer in the field of Construction Project Management.

Steven resides in the wonderful community of The Woodlands with his wife of 45 years, Carolyn, where he enjoys spending time with his son, daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren.  Steven is also a collectible car enthusiast, especially Corvettes.  He and Carol enjoy traveling to historical sites and museums.  As an Eagle Scout, Steven also volunteers his time with the Boy Scouts of America.
